About the role

good light is looking for a dynamic individual who wants to explore new ways to define and grow a brand and move culture forward. Specifically, this individual will work alongside our team to drive growth on social media and design innovative content and strategy for our platforms.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the development (vision, ideation, launch, monitoring and analysis) and execution of social media strategy and content curation for all key product launches and ongoing marketing campaigns, brand moments and retail.
  • Drive and develop an accelerated growth strategy on existing social media channels and oversee new platform launch strategies, creating unique content for each channel.
  • Build brand promotion on social media with a focus on high-level community management and organic growth of good light and very good light communities.
  • Produce monthly and quarterly analytics reporting processes, including influencer and social media results, and provide insights, recommendations and tracking against KPIs.
  • Serve as a social media thought leader and share best practices, general advice, and brand standards and guidelines
  • Manage the development of the brand’s social editorial calendar, translating marketing strategy and high-level messaging into relevant weekly and daily content to support cohesive campaigns and new product launches while creating new social media-focused editorials
  • Define and manage content creation plans to support branded channels as well as those of partner retailers. Includes website, emails, advertising campaigns, social platforms, in-store, retail touchpoints, etc. Focus on early digital assets and inventive brand storytelling
  • Collaborate with partners and editorial teams to execute integrated campaigns across paid, earned and owned channels
  • Work hand-in-hand with creatives to develop compelling and engaging brand assets to drive new launches, support core flagships and bring the brand narrative to life

  • Someone who is comfortable in front of the camera and creates original content, and is at the center of the brand on our social media platforms
  • Hold a deep understanding and passion for the digital, social media and creative space with a pulse on industry trends and expertise in industry best practices.
  • Creative thinker with a solution-focused approach and ability to identify opportunities and efficiencies, with expertise in creating data-driven content, and be prepared to manage many relationships and projects at once.
  • Autonomous, able to think quickly and work well in a team
  • In-depth working knowledge of all social media platforms and their analytics
  • Knowledge of photo and video editing software
  • Experience in the beauty industry or similar lifestyle industry preferred
  • Strong social media presence and preferred following
  • 3 to 5 years of work experience required
